Born in 2000 out of necessity (Victor leaving the country in order to pursue his degree in the U.S.), Phobia developed as a side project of Warganism (than Dies Irae).
In the beginning this project did not involve Victor, the drummer seat belonging to his cousin and Warganism's vocalist Radu Iordache. But over the years Victor got more and more involved with this project and now he is the band's full time drummer. The side project also features as vocalist the band's long time friend, Cosmin Gheorghiu.
In 2002 Phobia recorded a self titled demo.
